Treating and Rescuing Injured Animals

CUPA is an organisation that runs independent shelters across the city to address critical aspects of animal welfare to suffering animals. They provide services for animal birth control, trauma and rescue, adoption and fostering, and large animal rehabilitation. They conduct awareness campaigns about respect for animal rights in various parts of the city. Their work also includes rescue and rehabilitation of indigenous wildlife. They focus their advocacy efforts on legislations around animals, spreading awareness of important factors of the law, as well as the rights of captive elephants.

Why are they the right choice for others:

  • Promoting and advocating for protection for animals from injury and abuse
  • Fostering human animal relationships through campaigns and interventions to educate and serve the city of Bengaluru
  • Providing essential care to animals which are sick, needy or exploited.
  • Inviting the public to participate through volunteering and donation efforts
